On-Screen Accessibility Options Panel

Every page on creativeenergy.com includes an Accessibility Options button in the lower-left corner. Selecting this button (or activating it with your keyboard via Tab and Enter) opens a slide-out control panel with 10 display adjustments saved automatically on your device:

• Increase Text Size / Decrease Text Size: Adjusts body and heading typography proportionally without horizontal overflow.
• High Contrast: Applies a high-contrast dark background with high-visibility text, borders, and yellow interactive highlights.
• Grayscale & Invert Colors: Reduces color distraction or inverts page luminance while preserving natural product photography.
• Highlight Links: Underlines and highlights every navigation, content, and call-to-action link across the site.
• Readable Font: Switches all typography to a high-legibility system sans-serif stack (Verdana / Tahoma / Arial) with expanded line and word spacing.
• Pause Animations: Disables non-essential transitions and motion, supplementing system prefers-reduced-motion preferences.
• Bigger Cursor: Enables a high-contrast oversized pointer cursor for easier visual tracking.
• Reset Settings: Restores default site styling and clears saved device display preferences at any time.

Core WCAG 2.2 AA Engineering Standards

• Keyboard & Screen Reader Navigation: Skip-to-main-content link, semantic HTML5 landmarks (<header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>), aria-current="page" indicators, focus trapping in dialogs, and keyboard-operable desktop and mobile submenus.
• Focus Appearance & Target Size: High-contrast dual-ring :focus-visible indicators and minimum 44×44px touch targets on primary interactive controls.
• Accessible Forms & Error Prevention: Programmatic <label> associations, aria-describedby helper connections, explicit required field notations, and live status/error announcements using both icons and text.
• Descriptive Media & Documentation: Meaningful alternative text on all product photography and clear PDF indicators on owner's manuals and spec sheets.
